Authorities Should Fix Bumpy Roads
An opinion article by Vasily Tselioudis
I think that this problem is mostly found in Greece. The government and local authorities should know about this. Therefore Greek citizens will be safe.
One way that potholed roads are dangerous is that the ride could be uncomfortable. When I say uncomfortable I mean stomach aches, headaches and problems like that. I remember when I was in a car ride that was very bumpy that I did not feel well.
Ragged roads are dangerous because of rainfall. For example if your car falls into a big hole that is cover by water, you might not be able to get out. It is the same problem for bikes. I remember when it was raining and my dad couldn't see the holes in the road.
Uneven roads can destroy cars and bikes. Parts such as the tires, frames, brake and skeleton. I remember when my front tire on my bike flattened a little.

a guide to Lelouda kids camp Greece
This summer I went camping to kids camp Lelouda for three weeks. Lelouda is located in Dafni Nerotivias on the island of Evia. Evia is connected to mainland Greece by a bridge that is one sixty fourth of a mile long. When you enter the camp, to your left you will see the art station and to your right the ping pong up. The ping-pong up is the highest ping pong area. Going to your right is the basketball court / flag area. The flag area is where we raise the Greek flag in the morning and lower it at night. Up ahead is were the ducks and birds live and where the secretary works. Further ahead is the kitchen and the dining room. Next to the dining room is the a amphitheater. At the amphitheater we show plays to the campers and their parents. Then going backwards you will see a path leading to the doctors house, the junior houses and the high bathroom. After that going down to your left is the the big pond and even more forward is the down ping-pong, the chess, the volleyball and the soccer feild. More to your left is the big kids tents. Then going down is the park, the flying fox, the dodge ball field, the archery and the deer area. The deer area has a dad, a mom and a child deer. In the picture below is the dad deer. That is a guide of Lelouda camp.

Ocean Motion
Scientists say pulsing |
"Kremien and coworkers were wondering WHY these corals move nonstop. And now a clue is found: The motion they make mixes up the water. This helps in two different ways. First of all it brings up nutrient-rich water and also flushes excess oxygen.
Many corals survive with photosynthesis. Photosynthesis uses light to turn CO2 (carbon dioxide) and water into their breakfast, lunch and dinner. The corals do not do the photosynthesis process the algae living inside them do it. The algae inside them share the foods they create with the coral it is inside of. Team Kremien says that the pulsing corals get ALL of their food from the algae that lives inside it. The type of algae that live inside pulsing corals are the ones that have single celled organisms. This type of algae works like a very green plant.
Also photosynthesis produces oxygen. In previous studies - not on pulsing corals-scientists found out that too much oxygen can slow down photosynthesis There is a maximum amount of CO2 a coral can hold which the algae need to use for photosynthesis. Team Kremien used to suspect that the xeniid corals is pushing some of the oxygen . This process bring in extra rich water in carbon dioxide. It would help the xeniids if a buildup of more oxygen was another one of their problems.
The experiment used to find it out was to keep xeniids in EXTRA high levels of oxygen- the scientists compared it with the corals in a perfect level. As hypothesized photosynthesis was slowed down. And so the swishing water does help remove oxygen. The motion may also bring food to the coral.
Xeniids are the only corals that do swish.

Alice in Wonderland at the JCC in Manhattan
On Sunday I went to see Alice in Wonderland at the JCC in Manhattan NYC. My friend Jacob Steinberg was in it. He was the caterpillar that helps Alice in Wonderland. Jacob looked like a DJ caterpillar. When Alice shrinks (or grows) the actor changed who she was. I got a seat on the balcony on a high chair. The show was awesome. After that I went to the after party. It wasn't fun but I can't wait till next year's performance.
The story is by Avid Simpatico, the music adapter is Bryan Louiselle, the director is Sasha Nanus, the musical director is Steven Silverstein and the choreographer is Rachel Macissac Myers.

Belgium (and Paris)
I will start with my first day in Brussels because I don't want to talk about my flight... One hint: BARF!!!
Pavlos, Angelos, Anna, Marina and me. |
The chocolaterie Patrick Roger in Sablon, Brussels. |
On day three we went to Paris,France .After we took a speedy train we got to Paris in one hour. My mom started talking about the Hunchback of Notre Dame the movie and how we were going by Notre Dame. Then we went to the Louxemberg gardens with a palace in it. There was an awesome zip line park where we played for one hour. After that we walked miles to eat omelets and ice cream. On the way we crossed a bridge over the Seine river. There were many locks on the fence. they were put there by people to show their love. Next we visited the Eiffel Tower. I couldn't believe how it was built. Then we walked back and got a taxi to the train station to get back home to Brussels.
The zip line in the Luxembourg Gardens playground. |
Marina and me on the Lovers' bridge over Seine. |
On day four we went to a pizzeria. I ordered a pizza margarita. While we waited for the food we played think of a country/city game. My margarita pizza was HUGE and good. Then I had a chocolate mosse with whipped cream on top. When we got home I did some of my math homework and fell asleep .
And again I don't want to explain my flight because it's totally not interesting. Hint...
